 Post-Talent does not mean 'without talent,' the term refers to the state ofcomplacency with the mediocre; freedom from the oppressive ideal of talent. Individual tastes have come under fire. If a consumer of the arts prefers Brand X over'This Leading National Brand,' he is 'lowbrow,' 'outside,' or simply a pervert.
