 Clifford VanMeter is a multiple award winning artist whose work has been featured in and on books, magazines, games and comics books. His vibrant use of color, and innovative painting techniques have made him a much sought after as both an illustrator and educator. He was most recently honored as a Guest of Honor at the 2000 Gen-Con. He is a published artist. | Clifford VanMeter Done as a cover submission to my buddy James Perham who at that time was running Acclaim Comics. Again, a spec piece done to get cover work, it was accepted but never published. Acclaim folded their tent and returned Magnus to limbo for a while. |

| Clifford Vanmeter I had just completed the character archetypes for Chivalry And Sorcery 3rd Edition. These were the first time I had tried to use the computersapinting tool, but they were limiting. Time and financial constraints on the project kept me from using the techniques to their fullest advantage. So I did this piece for myself... working full out with no self-imposed constraints. I haven't touched a brush since. |
