| Marthalicia Matarrita This piece was made during the time where I was going through different emotional stages, all in one day. The technique I used was acrylic with toliet paper. I would moisten the toliet paper until its stick to the canvas, then add a dark background color, and wait until it dries. Once dried I would add several layes of other colors, mostly a lighter one, to give it contrast. The the figures would be added with diffrent facial expressions. Those faces are my face, made from a reflection I used from a distorted mirror. |
