 Social Concern is a female punk band out of Northern California. They formed in May, 2003 and since then, have played shows throughout Northern California and Oregon.
Their first recording was a seven track demo recorded in a home garage studio, 2003. It was titled Cupcakes and Snowflakes. With the release of California Angel,
their sound has progressed to a dark, alternative sound with songs geared toward social and political issues. Loud, fast and f*cked up, they are not your typical 'chick rock' band.
