This work is one of a 2 part series. I photographed 8 of my friends at the same place with the same lighting, all one after the other, and then I merged thier images in photoshop to create an 'everyman,' sort of feel. The first image in the series is more of a cubist looking image. In this one, I chose to join them in a looser composite, blending them with the sky as well to show thier connection not only to each other but also to nature. The inspiration for the series is a passage in the Herman Hesse novel Siddhartha, when Siddhartha looks at his friend and sees the face of everyone he has ever known as well as the stone and river thus realizing we are all one with each other and nature. This is another image from the Parisian Circus Museum. The original is a 16x20 mounted on black 1/4 mount board.I am offering this as an extremely LIMITED EDITION series of 11x14 Archival Prints on 1/4 black mount board. The original was featured in my solo exhibition 'Wood, Water, Stone,' at Centre Gallery, Tampa, FL, January 2005. This image was taken in Bodi, CA, the ghost town. It is of a section of the side of a weathered building. It was featured in a solo exhibition of mine called 'Wood, Water, Stone.' I found the play between the former inhabitants of the ghost town particularly intruiging. The people had constructed these structures out of natural resources, and now with the people gone, nature has begun to reclaim these resources through the process of erosion. All about the town you can find evidence of it's previous dwellers: cars half deteriorated, clothing, equipment...The original is a 20x24 Archival Print on 1/4 inch black mount board. 16x20 Archival Prints are also available on 1/4 inch black mount board. Taken in Paris at a museum for circus arts. It is of an antique carousel in motion. The colors and motion in the image relate a timeless sort of exuberance. This image was featured at the Galacorina art event Nueva Vida in Tampa, FL, November 2005.This image is of two identical mirros placed across from each other and infinitely reflecting one another. The reflections form a space that seems physical as if you could step right into the mirror and walk through it as if it is a hallway. I am very intruiged by the idea of representing a mirror as a physical space and have produced a number of works that explore the mirror as a visual, conceptual, and physical space. This is part of that series. The title 'Down The Rabbit Hole,' of course elludes to the physical space behind the mirror as Lewis Carroll portrayed it in 'Through The Looking Glass.' I have purposely chosen this name as it elludes a bit more vaguely by referring to Alice's earlier adventures in Wonderland and hopefully reminding the viewer that it is our previous experiences in strange worlds which inform us and affect our latest journeys into new ones. Bodi, CA The house was abandoned at some point in the 1940's. The inhabitants had left apparently in the midst of packing. A hat rests neatly on the back of a chair, and a box of clothes lays open with clothing spilling out. It is a wonder what caused them to leave in that state and intruiging that something could be left in such a hurry yet remain perfectly preserved in that state of flux for over half a century. An etheral glow from the window adds an otherworldliness to the image.I am offering this as an extremely limited edition in 7x20 on black mount board. It is an open edition with prints made to order, but I will be ending the series after only a few orders have been placed.

This image is of a curved wall of mirrors in a temporary display room for an exhibit that was at the Musee D' Orsay, in Paris, summer of 2004. The way the mirror reflected the lights and the way the curves affected the reflections was very surreall to me. The figure on the edge of the frame is myself so it is a self portrait technically, but the image is really more about the idea of being on the verge of something, just stepping into a world as yet unknown to you, and the identity of the figure is less relevant.
