I remember as a kid watching slide shows that my dad out on of family vacations, of nature, of the redwood trees of our old home in California, to us kids growing up, and wanting to be able to put on my own slide shows, showing off my photos of what ever I found interesting. | Chad Dodd The wind blew across the winter cornfield near an abandoned barn in Nebraska, dropping the temperature to negative degrees. Standing in the cold, the 'Keep Out' spray painted to the side said it all. It told a story that 'No Trespassing' signs, nor would the late night scares with the shot gun detour the delinquents and random intruders. | Chad Dodd At a back lot in Omaha, Nebraska, lies a rusted pink Chrysler Saratoga that's seen its better days. Driving past this car on my way to and from work, I have seen this car lay alone. On the evening of my Grandpa's passing earlier that morning, I saw it fit to capture the life of this now extinct automobile and bring it back to life. The love for my Grandpa ignited the thought of honoring him in this not so classic car. He may not have been a man of great popularity, but a man that was faithful in the large and small. May the Legacy of Old live on and inspire us to be men and women of integrity and character. |

| Chad Dodd Once shining so brightly to light up the now vacant barn, is a shattered dream, a shattered purpose. One day this small and insignificant bulb would give a farmer light to the night to feed the cows, to store meal, to assist the man in his daily nightly tasks. Yet now it hangs still attached to its power source broken, not allowed to fulfill its purpose. Let this bulb hang as a reminder, to not be just plugged into the source and be shattered, not fulfilling any purpose but if you are shattered to be renewed and light the night. |
