the product of vast
amount of research,
thought and passion. An
attempt to represent
these archetypes of
warriors and mystery-
keepers. They are all
detailed pencils, digitally
enhanced, and printed in
monochromatic color on
gold parchment. They
include the individual
archangel's seals and
greek as well as celestial
angelic script of the
hebrew terms depicted
there. These prints
include a description
sheet which details the
individual archangel as
well as information on the
series.
Azrael, the angel of
death, is often
misrepresented as a dark
and violent figure.
However, his role is not
that of a killer, he is the
one who gently beckons
the soul from the body
upon death, kindly
greeting and guiding us
to the next life. He is
usually represented with
the "Book of Life & Death"
which he monitors
constantly, and a golden
apple from the tree under
the throne of God, which
he uses to entice
frightened souls out of
their physical bonds. |

Camael is the archangel
of war. Though Michael
leads the angelic armies,
Camael is his #1 general
and is the embodiment of
warfare. By this token, he
is also primarily the
preventer of war. Camael
also serves as a guide to
mankind in finding
peaceful means to
conflict, though he is
brutal in ensuring an end
to battle. |

Gabriel is primarily a
messenger, though he is
also a bearer and teacher
of magic, a guide, and, in
essence, an assassin.
When the armies of
Lucifer were to be fought
down, Michael was called.
When mankind was to be
taught a fatal lesson,
Gabriel was summoned.
Gabriel is also regent of
the moon and feminine
qualities in men. |

Metatron is often argued
to be as important or
more so than Michael.
With examination,
however, one can see that
whereas Michael leads the
angelic armies, Metatron
is the keeper of all
records. Therefore, their
jobs differ greatly.
Metatron is said to be the
keeper of the greatest
secrets, and it is usually
he who speaks for God.
He is best known as the
voice of the burning bush
which Moses
encountered, as well as
the pillar of smoke and
fire which led the
Hebrews out of Egypt. |

consumate soldier and
protector. Lucifer is his
nemesis. He is also the
regent of the sun and one
of the primary
