Tabor is a reference to all that Tabor means. I was inspired with the name for this project after spending on day on Mt Tabor in Portland, Oregon. I was cleaning my van when it just dawned on me, "what a strange name for a band." After looking up the meaning of "Tabor" on Wikipedia it was pretty much solidified.<br><br>Each song on this album is a tribute to the culture of the Great Northwest, just as the name implies. This album is really just a work in progress and really represents a taste of the larger project I hope to pursue in a proper studio. I wrote all the music on an acoustic guitar autographed by no other than Fred Armisen from the show Portlandia. I then composed the music on Acid Pro, and recorded the vocals in my friend's bedroom using a crappy microphone and a laptop computer. The beats are adaptations of raw beats given to me by no other than <a href="http://www.artopium.com/shawn">Shawn Alchemi</a>. Thank you Shawn! You're beats are so raw!<br><br>I've made available both a free download and a payable download for those who can afford it and for those who can't.
