It's hard to say where Aisle Of View began. The story is different for all of us. In the summer of 2008 Yoni Wilson moved to Portland from Kansas City, shortly after he met musician/songwriter Thomas Mckeon, they began focusing their energy on music, together. In the spring of 2010, they met singer/songwriter Elijah Cruz, whose Rastafari background rounded out their songwriting, and ultimatley their Reggae style. While Tom, Yoni, and Elijah were writing songs together. Brandon Truster, and old friend of Yoni's from Missouri decided to make a life change and move to Portland to pursue his music dreams. After arriving, he knew he made the right descision. Adding to the stew, Elijah had a random encounter on the street with Sabiah Sogard. She was excited to become part of a new musical endeavor, and a Trumpet player added the perfect Jazzy element to the band. Throughout all of this time, the most difficult member to find was a drummer. In April of 2013, they found out that their friend Trevor Scott was available to play drums in a new group. It was clear to everyone involved that this was, all at once, the completion and the beginning of a brand new entity. May 2013, they began playing shows under the name Aisle Of View. Aisle Of View is a name that represents the collective focus of the band's energies. By focusing their collective visions together down the narrow path towards one common goal, they form their own Aisle Of View. That goal is to use their music to spread the message of love and unity, and the spirit of healing and wholeness, bringing people together through the universal language of the soul. It's a goal that they hope you all share, because if we all focus, as beings of light, down that same Aisle Of View.Thank you all for being,Aisle Of View
