Hell's Half Acre

A cornucopia of sound from the blistering attack of 'Echo of the Wasp', to the sentimentality of 'Ten Days'. The record, actually an E.P. takes the listener on a menagerie of noise ranging from infection to depression in a very short amount of time... this is no accident. Lyrically the album takes the audience from the decadent to the deviant, with no apology... only with the hope that this acoustic violence maintains its honesty and integrity.

Tapping the sonic landscape to draw noise both vintage and novel, The Red Light District is a dulcet force. Forming over the course of 3.5 years, the band has grown in leaps and bounds, striving in the battle of mainstream homocide. Deriving styles from such influences as Alice in Chains, Tool, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Doors; The Red Light District has cultivated a sound that is without question theirs alone. The intention is to craft songs that are contagious yet maintain thier integrity, a trait that seems to be growing more and more important in the subculture of rock music.
