My work is inspired by several styles ranging from Surrealism, Art Nouveau, Oriental Art, and Comic Illustration. My most dominant influence has been that of the Surrealists. A major theme of my work is the use of color, often starting with very vibrant acrylics, which set the tone of each piece. I typically work on several pieces at once, my process is largely subconscious, allowing the work to change, sometimes drastically, from the initial sketch to final painting.
