Made In His Image-April 2015-Acrylic, Oil Pastel, and Mod Pog on Canvas.The creature in this depiction is called Cosmo. He is one of my many weird, twisted depictions of creation, universe, or god, or whatever you like to call it. The square consuming the top half of the canvas represents infinity, as creative consciousness expands, it discovers it has no limits and could even grow beyond the limit of the canvas. The heart contains two faces sharing one eye, implying a collective awareness and love for all that is created. The round face below the square is almost has a devoid expression, empty eyes, showing that the source of creation moves forward and creates just for the sake of creation, no matter what it may be. Much is subject to interpretation with this one. Genetically Modified Yogurt-Fluorescent Latex Paint on Canvas with Wood Cross backing-Sept 2014. This piece was fun to do in spite of the fact that I don't really care too much for Latex paint. It gums up my brushes and usually doesn't spread too evenly. What I did was take a canvas that was stretched too lose over it's frame and glued to pieces of wood in between in a cross formation to stretch the canvas out and make a partially 3d item. Then I drizzled glow in the dark latex paint all over it and watched for a lifetime as it slowly dried. I don't have a blacklight at the moment but I'm pretty frickin sure this thing will glow like a nice cream supernova during the solstice. A nice piece for raves to be sure. Yep, they are right in front of you, right now, in your room, watching you watch tv as they graze on the astral plane. I made this by painting an acrylic piece in primary colors with black, then coated it with oil pastels using the secondary colors. The result is a nice image with fun layers in which to lose yourself. My famous heart is present, as always, so it is a piece that will bring positive energy to your room or dungeon. Birth and Death (Tunnels of Light)-Jan 2018-Acrylic Paint, Oil Pastel and Mod Pog on Canvas. This is a highly coveted piece. The piece is too big for Cell Phone camera resolution so just imagine the established imagery oozing off the sides a bit. This was the last painting I have done. Because I was deprived of the ability to purchase canvassupplies to keep painting. Plus, I was frustrated from a lack of sales and positive feedback, so I guess a little break was needed. This piece depicts the age old concept that we enter the world through a tunnel of light and leave this world in a tunnel of light. What is a tunnel of light, anyway? I had a NDE once and saw a tunnel of light that would be impossible for even a computer to portray? Maybe. I did the best to capture the feeling I experienced while in this tunnel. It was a strange, inviting place full of love and color. When I painted this, I felt as if my health was poor. The idea that I will die someday became an actual thing. This is probably why this piece is slightly different from the rest. This one is available for sale, but a friend of mine wants it really bad.
